Volunteers needed currently in the
following areas
Hands-On Adventure Center Volunteer
Available shifts:
Tuesdays
10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Wednesdays
10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Thursdays
1:00 p.m. -4:00 p.m.
3rd Saturday of each month
11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
The Hands-On Adventure Center is an activity area
of hands-on fun. There are dinosaur rubbings,
coloring pages, games, puzzles and more. The HOAC
volunteer greets and assists the visitor in
exploring and engaging in the activities offered.
Volunteers will be working with children and needs
to have good customer service skills.
Special Event Volunteer
Available shifts:
2nd Friday of each month
5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The museum celebrates 2nd Friday Out with a
special evening opening of the museum each month.
Special event volunteers will help facilitate the
different activities and programs.
1st Sunday Volunteers
Available shifts:
First Sunday of each month
Noon – 4
Volunteer opportunities in the gold panning
courtyard, museum store, lobby and more. Please

Museum Store Volunteer
Available shifts:
Fridays
11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Must be able to stand for 4 hours, be proficient in
ringing up sales on register within 30 days of start
date and be 16 years old or older.
